WARDOGS objectives and rotations guide

Objective play is a timing problem before it becomes a score problem. Use the live HUD and the current map panel for names, rules, and locations; archive snapshots can help identify categories of information, but they are not proof that a marker or rule still exists in the current build.

Identify the actual task

At spawn, name the objective your squad is supporting, the route to it, and the signal that tells everyone to leave. A squad that never agrees on the task often arrives in fragments and turns a capture attempt into isolated fights.

Rotate before the route collapses

Watch friendly movement and the safe approach, not only the fight in front of you. If two approaches are blocked and teammates are respawning, call a reset or use a wider lane. A slower rotation with cover is usually more useful than repeated entries through the same watched door.

Hold with exits, not piles

When occupying an objective, leave one player watching the route behind the squad and keep an exit open. The aim is to survive the enemy response long enough for a new wave of teammates to arrive, not to make every player stare at the same window.

Use the map panel as a planning surface

Place any marker only after saying what it means: rally, observation, vehicle pickup, danger, or next objective. The map reading manual gives a compact vocabulary that works even when a named map is updated.

Avoid false specifics

This guide does not state capture speeds, ticket values, spawn rules, or current point names. Verify those in the active build and report a change with a screenshot, game mode, and build context.
