WARDOGS FIELD MANUAL

Control Zone scoring manual

A WARDOGS match fields up to 100 players on a 2 by 2 km map, split across three factions: Valkyra, Manticore and Lonestar. The Control Zone is a large circle that stays fixed for the whole match; the Hot Zone is a smaller circle that drifts inside it. Plan rotations around the fixed circle first and the moving one second.

Scoring rules

The win condition is 100 points. Every 22 seconds the game counts presence inside the Control Zone and awards 1 point to the faction with the most bodies. Kills do not score — presence does. Standing in the Hot Zone counts as two players, while a downed operator counts as zero, so reviving a teammate literally puts a body back on the tally.

Contested ticks

When two factions are level at the top, nobody scores. The tick fills and holds, then pays out the instant the deadlock breaks — a body walking in, an operator going down, or someone stepping into the Hot Zone all move the count.

Practical habits

Treat the score tick as a timer you can watch. Revives inside the circle are worth double presence, and a body that cannot be reached by a medic is worth far more than one that went down beside a squadmate. Numbers on this page come from an archived public database snapshot and await independent in-game verification.
