Build only when it changes the squad's next decision. Construction that creates a safe crossing, a protected revive space, or a delayed approach can matter; construction that blocks friendly movement often costs more time than it saves. Specific parts, resource costs, and health values must be checked in the active build.

Build the route, then the room

Start with the path your squad needs to cross. Place protection that lets the team reach the next piece of cover, then improve the position only if the route remains useful. A perfect static hold is less useful than a modest structure that supports a timely rotation.

Leave friendly exits

Every defensive piece should be checked from both sides. Ask whether a teammate can leave, revive, resupply, or reverse a vehicle without becoming trapped. A structure that only protects the builder can split the squad at the first counterattack.

Make the enemy choose

Good construction creates a decision: go around, expose a flank, spend time breaking through, or take a longer route. Do not assume a particular destruction threshold. If the opposition removes a structure quickly, update the plan instead of repeatedly rebuilding the same shape.

Record useful observations

If you discover a build interaction worth reporting, save the map, mode, location, tool used, and a short sequence of what happened. That is more actionable than a claim that a feature is always broken or always strong.

Read building and destruction alongside objectives and rotations.
